Born on 19/09/1957. Obtained B.A. Degree from Farook College, Kozhikode in 1978 and Law Degree from Government Law College, Kozhikode in 1981.
Enrolled as an Advocate on 13/03/1982 and was a member of the Bar Association, Manjeri. Practised for 6 years in various Courts in Malappuram District. Joined the Judicial Service as Munsiff-Magistrate, Perambra (Kozhikode) in July 1988. Promoted as Sub Judge in May,1992. Served as Sub Judge Thodupuzha from May, 1992 to May, 1993, as Additional CJM Thalassery from May, 1993 to May, 1994 and thereafter worked as Sub Judge from May 1994 to July 2000 at Thalassery, Sulthan Bathery and Irinjalakuda and as CJM Ernakulam from July, 2000 to March, 2001. Promoted as District and Sessions Judge in March, 2001. Served as Additional District Judge at Thalassery, NDPS Special Judge and Additional District Judge at Vadakara and Additional District Judge/MACT at Irinjalakuda. Appointed as Principal District and Sessions Judge at Palakkad in May, 2010. Served as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kozhikode from June 2011 to February, 2013 and at Ernakulam as District and Sessions Judge and STAT since March, 2013.
Sworn in as Additional Judge of the High court of Kerala on 1st January, 2014.
